Is there absolutely any way to add a log in/log out widget?
If yes is it possible to make it in a way that the log in option appears only when someone is not logged in and the log out option appears when someone is logged in?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the Meta Widget for this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/meta-widget/

Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Well, I’m aware of the Meta Widget, but it includes more options than what I’m looking for (I’m already using the Meta Widget).
So, is the way to make a similar widget (probably by adding some sort of code to a text widget) so that it works like the Meta Widget (without including all the other options)???

Sure, you can use the following code in a Text Widget to show a Login and Logout link:

    <a href="http://gunsnwar.wordpress.com/wp-login.php">Login</a><br />
    <a href="http://gunsnwar.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=logout&redirect_to=http://gunsnwar.wordpress.com%2F">Logout</a>

    Oh! One more thing!
I know that what I’m going to ask can be done on wordpress.org, but at the moment I want to stay here, on wordpress.com.
Is there a way to make a text widget with the code that you give me earlier (thanks again!), but make it an way so that the Log in appears to logged out users, while the Log out appears to logged in users?
If not, it’s okay, I’ll just make a couple of modifications to the one above and then start using it!

Not on WordPress.com. There might be on WordPress.org.
