Hi Fstat. The post I put above was by clicking the “contact us” so I assumed it had directed me to the right place. I am not a tech wiz sadly and I have to be honest, right now I am very lost and don’t understand much of the topic content and where to find a resolution to my issue. Is there not a function where I can chat or talk to someone about my issue?

Your site is running a stand alone WordPress installation – that’s quite different from what we do here at WordPress.com. There are 2 different versions of WordPress.
Running your own WordPress installation, is just that. You are are responsible to fix the site, manage updates, etc… There’s not a designated company behind the WordPress installation, it is an open sourced, community-based project.
There’s a community of volunteers that will try and help you. Please make a post in the designated forum at https://wordpress.org/support/
We don’t have any access to your site to provide further troubleshooting.
