Logged in to WP but unable to comment ??? nearly 2 weeks

  For two weeks now apart from on one occasion I cannot comment on other blogs.
  When I wish to comment I find an e mail form to fill in with an unknown gravatar EVEN though I AM logged into WP. Or I see in the comments ‘sign in to reply’
  If I click on the WordPress ‘W’ sign in with etc etc my own gravatar comes up and it would appear from this that I can then comment .
  OK. So I write my comment. Immediately up comes a box which says ‘Sorry this comment cannot be posted.’
  Some of my earlier comments have ended up in people’s Spam folder and they have very kindly ‘unspammed’ me . I have contacted Askimet and they have assured me that I am not a spammer and that there is no resaon why my comments are being caught like this . Apparently some UK ISP had been having problems but this they said had been fixed , so from my side all should be working fine.
  I have written 4 e mails to the support helpline at WordPress asking for help in this matter and I have had not one reply.
  I know that I am not the only one with this problem which has yet to be resolved .
  So here I am … asking you lovely people in the Community for ideas – ANY – ideas, as to how I will be able move forward on this issue and get things back to normal . Thank you :-)

  I realize this post is almost a month old, but I’m currently experiencing the same difficulty and no one ever got back to the OP?

  It’s not happening everywhere, I can comment on my own blog just fine, but when I visit other blogs I have to login again (even though I’m already logged in) and then get a “Sorry, this comment could not be posted.” notice.

  Currently using Chrome 29 and cookies are enabled, cache has been cleared several times since this started happening last week.
