logging in to make changes.
-
I can log in from the ‘home screen’ but when it asks me to log in to make changes.. for example I was going to edit the theme from the one I have to the one I purchased the log in says that my password is incorrect even though I just logged in with it. Then when I hit the ‘change password’ it says that my email is not found. Even though I 1) logged in with it and 2) have the confirm email to prove it. So how do I resolve this issue?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com.
Name Server: NS1.BLUEHOST.COM
Name Server: NS2.BLUEHOST.COMI’m not sure where you’re trying to login to but basically, there are various places you can login to and they might have different login credential. Normally there are two separate logins for WordPress sites:
– Your self-hosted WordPress site through http://laurenmoorefit.com/wp-admin. This is the login to your site’s dashboard where you can add/edit your posts and pages, install plugins and customize your theme. To reset the password for this account, check out this guide.
– WordPress.com through https://wordpress.com/log-in using the username laurenmoorefit which you used to post this topic here in this support forum. If you have Jetpack installed on your self-hosted WordPress site and connected it to your WordPress.com account, you can use the WordPress.com administration panel to view your site stats, add/edit your posts and pages as well as customize your theme. Since you’re able to post the topic here, I don’t think you need help to login into this account.
If you still need help on your self-hosted WordPress site, please post your questions at the WordPress.org support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/.
