Logging in to oneall with WordPress
-
I’m trying to connect my wordpress account to other social media through oneall, but every single time and no matter through what website that uses the oneall service it won’t let me connect wordpress to the oneall account.
-
As I understand, you are trying to connect this newly created WordPress.com login to a site that uses Oneall as a social login?
Did you verify your WordPress.com account when it was made?
If you added two factor authentication to this account after creating it, you may need to use an application password.

I double checked and the email is verified, and I never added Two-factor, but I’ll turn it on and try it that way
-
Nope, tried it using the generated password and it came up with the same screen as using my username does, though the link differs. Still not logged in.

Are you entering your username exactly as showing under your picture here? It looks like they want that, and not an email.

You’re using all the details for the account you just made today right before creating this post, right? Or has this happened with other accounts? You mentioned it happening on any site using Oneall.
-
Using this account I made today, yes, I haven’t had experience with WordPress before. The Oneall account seems to link all other social media very easily, and no matter whether I try to add WordPress through a third-party website which uses the service or directly through Oneall’s website it seems to not work.
-
Huh, I think linking is just used to easily create an account with an existing account or login with it, from what I know of the feature? I get a “The specified url is not a valid OpenID endpoint” when I try to use my WordPress.com login on the Oneall site.
That might be a configuration issue on Oneall’s end, but let’s tag staff and see if they have any insight.

Hi there!
I’m not very familiar with Oneall’s services, so I’m trying to understand what exactly you are trying to achieve, @daldesantis?
Since we do not offer their service on our login page, it’s probably best to contact them directly for clarification if you’re having any issues.
