Logging in to the admin site

I created my site a few weeks ago and hired someone to create my site. It was delivered to me today to check it out.
I went to http://www.myname.com/wp-login.php but it seems that I forgot my password in the time I didn’t have my site. I click on forgot password and it takes me to a maintenance window. It has been in maintenance all morning – any idea when this will be back up, or am I accessing my page incorrectly?

Hi! I’m an administrator for cvderbydivas.com and I haven’t had any trouble logging in until know. Whenever I go to cvderbydivas.com/wp-admin an error message pops up and I can’t get logged in at all.
Please help!

hello! I am new in this wordpress world (which is best invention since water).
I was working in my site until last weekend, through a template I bought somewhere in the net, and it appears to be OK. I was happy with my work. Today, I tried to enter to my dashboard through //wp-admin, and there is an error message: “wrong password”. When I clicked on “lost password” to recover my “lost” password, and there is another error message: “There is no user registered with that email address”.
WT*!! help please. I don´t know what to do, I don’t know anything beyond basics.

As with the previous poster, you are inquiring about a self-hosted, WordPress.org site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com.
Since your site is hosted elsewhere, we cannot directly assist you with this issue. You will need to contact your current hosting provider for support.
