Logging into my account

    I’ve been working on my website editor until yesterday and today I cannot have acces tot he editor. As I am in Spain I’ve been trying wordpress.com, wordpress.es, and wordpress.org. But I cannot figure out what happened. At the moment, when I click on ‘My Site’ I can only see the option ‘create site’.

    Finding the right place to get the information can sometimes be challenging.

    I don’t see that you included your domain name in the post, what domain name have you created?
    Is the site hosted with WordPress.com?

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    The site is hosted by Hostgator, my domain is isasniche.com
    I cannot log in to my editor. Yesterday I tried to change my domain name, but I realised that if I want another domain name I need to pay again. So I put it back to isasniche.com and now I cannot log in to the editor, even from my email links.

    Your site is in no way connected to your wordpress.com account.
    You can log in to your site at http://isasniche.com/wp-login.php

    Hello! Uhm.. it does seem that you may have some problems with your Hosting company. First of all WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little bit different.

    • WordPress.com is, in simple words, a hosting service, and a managed platform for WordPress. You choose the domain, tweak some things in the setup and you’re good to go. They do offer paid plans and various features.
    • WordPress.org on the other hand, is where you can get WordPress, the open-source content management system itself. But you need a custom Domain name and a hosting provider.

    Since you have your website hosted with Hostgator, you’re using the so-called “Self-hosted WordPress.” We are now chatting on the WordPress.com forum, so we can not help you in regards to possible problems with your Hosting provider (in your case, Hostgator).

    I do suggest checking the default log-in page for the self-hosted WordPress websites. In your case, the default login page will be http://isasniche.com/wp-login.
    Let’s see if you can log in to your dashboard.

    If you have no luck either in this way, I suggest you to contact Hostgator support.
