Logging into site

  I helped my sone set up a WordPress site many years ago and he now wants to be able to edit it and work on it again. It is not registering his email address which is the same as it was then. The site is https://alastairbuilds.wordpress.com/. How do we get access please?

  Hey hihelen18,

  You can try resetting the password. If you have registered your website with your son’s email, you will receive an email.

  If not, try checking other email addresses you own.
  There are many other account recovery options you can try.

  In order to work on that site he will need to get signed in to the alastairbuilds account.

  Try to reset the password as a first option.

  If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to submit the account recovery form with proof of ownership: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Please know that those are the only items we can accept to recover the account.
