Logging into WordPress.com with a WordPress.org account

  I own a wordpress.org account – nikkiswiftreads.com through bluehost. I went to my friend’s website and tried to login with my wordpress.com account, and it says my account is not found. I don’t want to have to purchase a wordpress.com website just to comment on wordpress.com websites, when I already pay much more for a wordpress.org website.

  Am I missing something? I would like to coordinate with other bloggers, and this is a real hassle 🙁

  You have a WordPress.com account you’re posting from now. You can use it to post comments on sites but it will only allow you to actually log in to someone else’s site if you’ve been added as a contributor/author etc by the owner of that site.
