I can’t seem to log on to my blog! i type in my user name, then my password, but when i click, it just goes blank again. i type in my username and password again, then it just disappears again. Help!!!

hmmm…weird. after i sent this post, suddenly i was logged in. its been like this for about a week now. logging on used to be so easy. now i have to repeat the process 2, 3, or more times before it logs on. what could it be?

What kind of browser and version are you using?

its firefox 2.0.0.14. i just discovered that theres no problem whenever i use other computers. it only happens when i use my ibook. but i dont remember doing anything different with my laptop recently. just now i tried logging in 4 times, but so far, no dice.

That’s very unusual; we have seen this kind of thing with Safari, but not FF. Have you checked to ensure cookies are enabled? Upgraded a virus scanner or spyware protection recently? Norton is very interfere-y if you use that.

it’s really weird. it’s like, im actually logged on; but it’s just not reflecting. sometimes, im already logged on, then suddenly the gray bar at the top (admin bar?), disappears so i can’t access my dashboard. but if i click on anything, say, a post, when it opens, the bar is back. so now im not sure if im not being logged in, or if its just not reflecting. im really confused now. it only started acting up maybe a week or 2 weeks now.

yes, my cookies are enabled, and no, im not using any virus scanner.

I would let staff know via the Support button on your dashboard. If you’re having the problem, probably more people are as well.

i just sent support a message. i really hope someone can help me. it seems to be getting worse. just now, i published a post, but it didn’t come out on my blog! i checked in my dashboard, its there in my list of posts, but if i go to my site, it’s missing!

its chicogarcia.wordpress.com. it also might be my internet connection. i just bought an imac, and when we tried it out at the store, my blog was fine. the moment we got home, and plugged it in, it was back. i can call my server, but what do i say?

Im having the same problem, though I am new or this is a new blog on WordPress. It says my account sunshineandchocolates.wordpress.com is ACTIVE! But it is a blank page. I am using Safari bt have other WordPress accounts and they work fine.

i just got in touch with my server as well, but they couldn’t find anything wrong on their end. im at my wit’s end. I tried everything, but no one can seem to figure out what’s wrong.

support advised to try and clear my cache and to force reload. I tried both but to no avail. unfortunately support is unavailable on weekends so i cant give them an update. i have to wait until monday to send them another message. if anyone has any other ideas, i’d appreciate it. I’d try anything at this point. have i been hacked? is some setting wrong? is it my server? my laptop or my desktop? is it firefox or safari? i tried both and it the same in both. sigh….
