  I had to create a new site so I could ask a question as there is no way to get support for my query otherwise.

  My problem is I changed my email provider sometime back and also havent used my wordpress in some time and don’t remember my password. Is there anyway to get a password reset sent to my new email address?

  My old email address was (email visible only to moderators and staff) and my new one is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The main site is this one https://ohtheplaceswedogo.wordpress.com/ but I had a few others linked too.

  Hi there!

  If you have access to the email address you used on your WordPress.com account, you can use that email to reset the password.

  Please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and enter the email address there. A password reset link will be emailed to you that you can click to change the password of your account. Afterwards, you can use the new password to log into your WordPress.com account.

  Thanks but I don’t have access to the email account and the link for recovery that you sent asked for the activation URL sent when the site was set up. This URL is in the email account that I know longer have access to so can’t access it.

  The email address was a webmail system set up by my internet provider when I know longer had that internet provider I lost access to all the emails associated with it.

  Thanks for clarifying that. In the event that you aren’t able to provide any of the proof of account ownerships that we require (transaction ID, an email from the email address used on the account, or the activation URL), we are not able to help with restoring access to the account.

  However, there are some options in cases like this. Please check out this page: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#if-ownership-cannot-be-established
