logging to the dashboard

  My laptop which runs windows xp does not allow me to log on to my dashboard at preque.wordpress.com. Please explain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you running a Firefox browser or a Chrome browser available from http://browsehappy.com? I’m asking because IE8 is an outdated browser that is not supported.

  Chrome is on my desktop & used to access websites. Sadly, it allows me access my blog at preque.wordpress.com but not my dashboard. Please advise.

  The login link is http://preque.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered http://preque.wordpress.com/ blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

  Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

  If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  I have done all that & infact there is no problem in accessing the blog on my cell phone & tablet. It is on my pc & laptop that I am unable to access the dashboard. Please advise.

  Hi there,

  Are you able to log in to your account at https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php ? If so, please go from there to your My Sites page and click the “Dashboard” link there.

  If that doesn’t work for you, please let me know what you see instead. For example, do you see a blank page? Do you get a specific error message? That will help me understand what’s going wrong.
