I want to login automatically and be able to ‘like’ Replies on theconservativetreehouse.com
-
I have been a member for about 2 years but about 3 weeks ago my automatic login no longer worked and I was not allowed to “like” comments on the blog theconservativetreehouse.com where I have been a regular member for as long as I have been a member of WordPress.
I changed the password on my computer about the time this problem began. however, that SHOULD not have anything to do with Word Press.

Hi @deanbrh,
Are you trying to login from your computer or phone?
Most probably, this should be related to your password. If the website set the password change in a specific time frame, maybe your password got expired and that explains why your automatic login stopped working.
I would suggest cleaning up your browser cache and try to login with your new password, also while doing that check the checkbox “stay signed in”.
You can learn how to clear your specific browsers cache by following these steps –
• Chrome – https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95582
• Firefox – https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
• Edge – https://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=54747
• Safari – http://support.wordpress.com/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-safari/
• Opera – http://help.opera.com/Windows/12.10/en/cache.html
• Internet Explorer – https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=15141Hope this info helps.

Hi there,
Just to follow up and add to what @arzuozbekakay suggested, are you having trouble logging into your account entirely? Or you just have to sign in every time want to visit the blog, make a comment, and like posts?
There is a check mark underneath your username and password when you login that you can select to make sure you are logged in every time. I’ve circled it in red in this picture: https://cloudup.com/c8B7omwbOGs
Also make sure you aren’t using an incognito or private browser.
Hope this helps!
Steve
