  at login page, using my username, it requested my email address which wordpress already has. I receive daily emails from wordpress on it. Why? But logging on to the forum site it accepted my username and password.

  What for should I enter my email address too, if initially my username was requested and was entered correctly?

  Me too. This is ridiculous, it has always been username and password only and never email. I logged in through this forum at the top as it didn’t ask for my email. I am reluctant to sign in with my email after also putting in my username and password as that does not seem a secure way to log in.
