login and domain mess
-
Hi there, I created a wordpress.com account back in 2016 for the domain humainallo.com. This year I decided to discard this domain and use the new one I registered arborethum.com instead. But in the process of renaming the domain I believe I lost my access to my wordpress account. The only way I can work on my future site is through a connection from bluehost portal. I am a bit confused. Can you help me find the way back to my wordpress.com account + disconnect humainallo.com and replace it by arborethum.com ? Thanks a lot in advance !

Hi sophiedudot –
Thanks for writing to us. I’ve had a quick look and don’t see where those domains are connected in the WordPress.com system. It doesn’t look like they are using the Jetpack plugin either (which sometimes will bring folks here for help).
Here is what I can see for the domains in question.
humainallo.com

Using BlueHost name serversHave you tried to contact BlueHost about this already?
Since these domains are pointed to another service, BlueHost, rather than our WordPress.com name servers it makes me believe that the WordPress installation is being used rather than WordPress.com. These are 2 different versions of WordPress. More details about the differences can be found in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Write back to me here if you have more details, questions, or are unable to find the help needed. I’m happy to keep helping where I can.
