Login and password troubles

Just a few minutes ago, I had to change my password again after my previous password was rejected as invalid on the login screen. This is the second time in a couple days that I was logged in, all’s fine, then I refresh my main page and poof, I’m logged out and my password is invalid. I haven’t made any changes myself except for the new password requests on these two occasions. What gives? Is this something I need to fix on my end or is it a WordPress glitch?

I’ve been having password problems too. I can’t reset because my hotmail account doesn’t seem to be receiving ANY WordPress emails (not even allowing it thru classified as “junk mail”) I’ve reset filters to no avail, and thus have been locked out of my blogs for several weeks. Nothing in FAQ seems to address this particular issue. If memory serves, I too started having “invalid login” messages which is why I attempted to change passwords. I’ve contacted support but (!) am afraid they, too, are attempting to contact me using my non-functional hotmail acct! (I do understand that contacting me via alternative email address — though I provided it to support — is tricky, as I could be just ANYONE trying to hack in. Oi vey.)

BTW: this is an alternative WP identity! My main one (that I can’t use at the moment) is “almostgotit”
