login- blocked- need a new recovery code sent to my e-mail

    hi there,

    hoping you can help here- i have seen your able to resend recovery codes-

    i have a website http://www.stormglazing.com. my user name is sean255 for word press.
    i have access to the authorised e-mail address for this account

    however when i try to log into wordpress.

    it says it is can send a sms code to the assocuated number for this account- i no longer have access tot his number.

    it then says it if i input a recovery code i can proceed however i do not have any reference to this 2 stage recovery code its not in my e-mails so i dont know where it is.

    can you please send my e-mail address a code i can then use to access and then change my recovery sms number?

    I’m afraid that your site (http://www.stormglazing.com/) is not hosted here with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org).

    Hi there,

    Please contact support for the specific 2FA plugin you’re using on that site directly.

    The open source WordPress software doesn’t come with any 2FA functionality built in, which means you’re using a plugin for this, and the WordPress.org forums won’t be able to help as they have no control over how the plugin you’re using works.

    hi kokkieh,

    thank you for looking at my message.

    i am not that technical at all but. its the wordpress account that has is asking me for the recovery code.

    i have access to my wordress dashboard of my site, but its the access to my over riding wordpress profile with the dashboard that shows my other two sites that i can no longer access as it requests a verification code sent to my old number.. and then a recover code if i dont have access- however i dont have my recover code either.

    so i am requesting wordpress technical support to please e-mail my profiles- sean255, authorised e-mail a new code, i can then access this top level dashboard and submitt a new number for sms verification codes going forwards.

    thank you once again and any help you can offer, much appreciated.
