    I can log in to my account, but I’m asked to log in again when I go to customize my site, at which point I receive an error message indicating that my account doesn’t exist.

    You did not specify the blog you need help with, which is essential to getting help here. Based on the description you have given, you host the site on another web host and have connected your site to WordPress.com using the Jetpack plugin. The complaint you have is common for that situation, because the login for your site and WordPress.com will not be the same.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
