Login details witheld

    Dear WordPress Team,

    We are a small guesthouse in Rome. We paid a third party, Douglas Major, to build a website for us. We could send the documentation to show that we agreed with him, and receipts of the payments we sent him to prove this.
    After paying him, Douglas never gave us the login details of the website, which he did not finish, even after a lot of delay – but for which he used wordpress. The domain he used is http://www.pousadaromana.com. He also stopped responding to any of our messages, which is why we are contacting you for some support.

    At the moment we are unable to check whether individuals have booked a place in the guesthouse, because we cannot access the website. This is very troublesome because we have had guests showing up whom we did not know had booked with us, and have had to find an alternative accommodation for them.

    We would really appreciate your support in this matter and we would be happy to add any details you may require.

    Hi there, it appears that the site at pousadaromana.com is not hosted here on WordPressdotcom, but is a self-hosted site using the standalone WordPress software. You will want to contact your hosting company directly, which appears to be CyrusOne.

    Does this also mean that CyrusOne has access to the login details required to access:
    http://www.pousadaromana.com/wp-login.php
    ?
    If so, we’ll try to contact them. Or would WP also have them?
