Login issue

Hello: I am unable to login. If I use my gmail login info, it guides me to a new, blank user profile. The blog has been dormant for more than 1 year; my last post is from Nov 14, 2019. I’d like to post to it again. Could you please hep me to get access?

Hey there, it looks like you just have another account. Can you log out and log in with the account associated with that site? It should be the email address that gets comment notifications and what not, so you can try commenting on the site and checking all of your email addresses if needed.

Thank you for the speedy response! Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the three listed in the recovery form. My blog was associated with my gmail address I used for login in. I was able to reset my account using my gmail, but then it took me to a blank profile, stating that no sites are associated with my email. I’ve always used my gmail. I used to receive blog comments to this email. I don’t understand why it is no longer associated with my gmail and previous account. Both your options don’t seem to work for me. The only way I can proof that the blog is written by me is that I link to my Twitter account and there you see my picture and name, which corresponds with my gmail address. Does this help?

Hi there,
When a site is set to private (which only the the account holder can do) there is a splash screen to say the site is “Private” but the message is not customizable I’m afraid.

I’m sorry I was not clear. I do not want to delete the blog or make it private. I still link to the blog.
Also, is it possible that the blog uses my old USC University email address? [redacted by staff[ If there is a different email, then the blog might have been hacked. I only have gmail and had a USC email. The problem is that I left USC in 2019 and moved to New York to a different University. I no longer have access to my USC email and, therefore, would not be able to reset my password. If there is still nothing you can do to help me, regardless of the circumstances and the information I provided, I’d appreciate it if the blog stays active but includes the archive notice I included above.
