Login issue with WordPress blog registered through GoDaddy
-
Hi everyone,
I recently bought 2 domains with 2 WordPress blog bound to them. Everything worked fine at the beginning but after a few months I suddenly had problems accessing the blogs both through the GoDaddy panel and the usual http://www.blog./wp-admin.
I contacted GoDaddy for further informations and they just told me that ‘somebody hacked my blog exploiting a vulnerability in one of the plugins I was using’. The problem, after having infiltrated my blogs, they apparently changed both the passwords and the emails I was using to log in their control panel.
First thing I thought was to just access to panels and uninstall the plugins, but without the credentials I’m not able anymore to log in even through WordPress.com (I could before).
One of the 2 blogs was bound to the email address I’m using with this account right now, but my account right now apparently has no blog bound to it.
Can you help me figure out how to solve the whole thing? It’s quite frustrating because I paid for the services and apparently I have no means to fix the problem.
As stated by the ‘contact’ form, I’m not providing further informations about the blogs, but I can of course provide those via private message.
Thanks and please let me know,
