Login Issues

  Every time I login, it sends me an email that I have to check before I can log in. I tried to find something in settings that changes this, but I couldn’t.

  How do I make it so I can just input my password to login?

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  When logging in to WordPress.com, you’ll often see an option called Email me a login link. When you enter your email in the box, this will send you a login email so you don’t have to remember your password. Click the link in the email and you will be logged into your WordPress.com account!

  However, once you choose this option, that account preference is saved and you will continue to see it as your login option. If you wish to turn off login links to log in with your username and password instead, visit the WordPress.com login screen and use the Lost your password option.

  This will send you an email that you can use to reset your password. This will ensure that the next time you log in, you may enter your username and password instead of using the email login link option. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/passwords
