Login link doesn't work due to 'X-Frame-Options' set to 'SAMEORIGIN'.
-
If I access my blog via its ___.wordpress.com domain the register and login links work OK.
But I have mapped a different domain name to ___.wordpress.com; when I access it through that domain, the register and login links don’t work and the Chrome console gives me the following error message:
“Refused to display ‘https://cloudcalc.wordpress.com/wp-login.php’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘SAMEORIGIN’.”
Any way I can use my mapped domain still allow readers to log in?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Tom,
I don’t currently see any domain mapped to your blog cloudcalc.wordpress.com. Could you let me know what domain you’re referring to?
-
If you access it this way, the register/login widgets don’t work.
Is there something else I should be doing?

Hi Tom,
This is likely because you haven’t setup the domain mapping upgrade yet. You should be able to do that following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/#instructions-for-mapping-subdomains
It looks like you have the free trial for the premium bundle setup right now. If you would like, you can set the subdomain up as part of that free trial and pay for the entire $99 bundle when the free trial is up. Alternatively, you can just pay for the $13 domain mapping.
Please give that a try and let me know if you need anything else!

For some reason the subdomain mapping page says that my subdomain CNAME is not pointing to the blog.wordpress. site, but obviously it is, since that is what I use to access the blog site.
I have to check and see exactly how the guy who is managing the domain name did it, and then get back to you.
Unless you have any other ideas…

OK, i tried to map the subdomain on that page, but it wouldn’t let me, because it said there was no CNAME pointing to the blog site (but blog.cloudcalc.com does take me there, you can verify that yourself). Now if I look at Store-MyDomains, it lists one of my domains as blog.cloudcalc.com (I don’t know how that got there).
If I go back to “Map a Domain that I already own” it says that domain is already mapped — so I go back to the blog and I have the same problems as before.

And now I really messed it up. I tried to set blog.cloudcalc.com as the primary domain, but that didn’t work, so I set it back to cloudcalc.wordpress.com, and now blog.cloudcalc.com goes nowhere.

Hey Tom,
I’ve removed the domain mapping upgrade for blog.cloudcalc.com per your request. For the subdomain to work correctly, you’ll need to add the CNAME record as you mentioned. I just checked cloudcalc.com, and I didn’t see a CNAME. Is there a chance you could add it following the instructions here?
