Login Link in Sidebar

  I just created a blog through Yahoo! (they host the Web site). I am trying to add a couple of things to the sidebar. Everything I have added is showing up just fine, except the Links and Meta Widgets. I have read through several forum responses that suggest that I should add the Meta Widget to allow users to login to the blog (this is for an organization and lots of people will be authors). I added the Meta Widget, and it is not showing up. I also added the Links Widget (including a link to the login page and the organization’s Web page, and that is not showing up either.
