Login not working via WP-Admin

The following is displayed upon login attempt:
“User “” Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested. You are logged in as “” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “”. If you are not “”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.”
My login credentials have not changed. I am the administrator. What is going on?

https://schiphenotype.com/ was first registered in 2010 whilst this account you are posting from is only two weeks old. Should you be logging in as admin via some other account?

schiphenotype.com seems to be a valid site on WordPress.com.
Have you tried logging in at schiphenotype.com/wp-admin (which will redirect you to marcelloschiffino.wordpress.com/wp-admin)
You will have to use the WordPress.com account login information. Are you still having troubles?

There is something strange going on.
The following is an account of the two scenario’s I am experiencing, the only difference being whether I am logged into my gmail account at the time or not. The first scenario is when not logged in:
After entering “schipheontype.com/wp-admin” in the address bar, I am directed to a utilitarian page with the following message:
“User marcelloschiffino221217 Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “marcelloschiffino221217” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Marcello Schiffino”. If you are not “marcelloschiffino221217”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “marcelloschiffino221217″ and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.”For the second scenario when I am logged into my gmail account, I directed to a wordpress login page prompting me to “Login to your account” via an email field. Upon submitting my gmail address, “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”, I am directed to a page that tells me “We just emailed you a link. Please check your inbox and click the link to log in.”
Clicking on this link from my gmail account does not direct me to my dashboard but the wordpress reader. I am told that there is no site setup after clicking “My Site”.
First of all I never created a username marcelloschiffino221217. I suspect that my gmail account may have been compromised but can’t be certain.
I haven’t tried logging into my dashboard for probably a week or two.
Hope this is enough for you guys to chew on.

What I am finding quite odd is the fact that I can never manage to reach the dashboard login page that one would normally get to after adding “wp-admin” to the end of the url. Whether logged into to gmail or not.

I was able to get access to my dashboard the following, inconvenient way:
While on this page, I logged into my account via the fields at top of page.
Then I opened a new tab and entered” schiphenotype.com/wp-admin” -

Whether or not you’re logged into Gmail is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is what WordPress.com account you’re logged in as.
If you’re logged into the WordPress.com account, marcelloschiffino221217, and go to https://schiphenotype.com/wp-admin, you will see an error because marcelloschiffino221217 is not a user on that site.
WordPress.com logins are not per site, but per account, so if you’re logged into the marcelloschiffino221217 account you’ll only be able to access sites in that account. If you try to access the dashboard for any site that belongs to a different account you will get an error.
To access your site’s dashboard you first need to log out of the marcelloschiffino221217 account, and then log in as the marcelloschiffino account.
