And where is your blog please? Would you like to post an active link starting with http:// to it so we can examine it and help you?

Thanks,
Okay you are using Twenty Eleven and it has some unusual features. There is no sidebar on single posts displayed on their own page. The best way to go about understanding how the theme is coded to operate is to read this article. -
This is your log-in link http://wiley1dotnet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
If you would like to link your username to your blog it can be done very easily. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

To add to what timethief said: are you referring to the “Meta” widget? On most themes, there are certain widgets that appear by default. Whenever you add a single widget, you replace the whole set of default widgets for that area. So simply drag and drop Meta into the widget area of your choice.
