Login page erroneously makes me login twice

  I use reCaptcha plugin and Chrome browser (on Windows 10). When I login to my site, the login refuses me once, saying that my brower doesn’t allow cookies, enable cookies and try again. My browser has cookies enabled so this is bogus. Secondly when I just ignore the error message and log in again, I’m accepted. Furthermore I’m accepted for future logins until I restart my browser. Has anyone encountered this problem in 2020?
