Login & password

I can’t login onto my page and the passwort request mails never arrived in my mail account.
-
I’m sorry to hear that. For security purposes WordPress does require that you provide some information about the account to be able to recovery it. You will need to fill out an Account Recovery Form with this information.
We will contact you with a response or a request for additional information. Once we have proof verifying you are the blog owner, you will be able to reset your password and regain access to your WordPress.com account.

Thanks for the link. I just wonder why the forgot password emails never arrived. Whats the poimt in offering that option if it doesn’t work?
-
You’re welcome.
I just tested the feature and it is working for me. It may not be working for you if you’ve changed to a different email address or if the email is being blocked by spam filters by your email provider. If you suspect the email might be getting put into a spam filter then you can add this email to your address book:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)
This is the address WordPress uses to send a password reset link to you.
-
Well, that wasn’t very smart. Sorry about that, for security purposes WordPress removes all email addresses from public visibility.
Remove the spaces:

It didnt get to spam, I checked that already. I accidently typed in the wrong password and saved it with my macbook, the one before was a generated safety password, so I never remebered it which might not have been the smartest idea ;)
I never got a transaction ID or anything. I didn’t pay anything. -
I know what you mean, I have done that a few times myself. :
The only other recommendation that I can give is checking any other email accounts you may have to ensure that you’re checking the correct email address associated with your WordPress account.

Anytime! I hope you can get back up and running soon. In the future setting up Two Factor Authentication (2FA) can be a great method of regaining access to an account as referenced in the Account Recovery Form.

This is WordPress.COM support and that site is not on our servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum. Our support docs do not apply to your site. For hosting issues contact your web host. For software support read on.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
To be clear here at WordPress.COM support we do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page.
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support.
The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/
If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support. -
Please confirm each and every URL of the site being referred to when you enter a thread so you do not waste the time of the person posting or of anyone else. Please also read

Is there a version of this written in a more friendly tone?
“To be clear…” sounds more like “Get out of here!”. -
@timethief
Same applies to how you talk to your volunteer. A constructive feedback, at least for me, looks different than yours. -
