login problem

  I’m having a major issue with logins right now.

  I have a wordpress site running/hosted on wordpress that requires login to view.

  Yesterday it was working fine:
  -go to site
  -enter login and password
  -view site

  Today:
  -go to site
  -enter login and password
  -view account dashboard (?????)

  Is there maintenance happening in the backend??
  I should be able to view the blog after login and pass is entered as before, but for some reason, it keeps showing me the dashboard =(.

  Any suggestions?? Help??

  Staff are on the job. They do monitor these threads so hopefully they will give you a hand with this real soon.

  I am having this same problem. Am about to send a support plea to fix. I have staff just getting used to the blog and this will just make them not want to use it!

  Do you have a wordpress.com hosted blog?
  If so staff cannot fix it unless you post the url for the blog.
  Staff are currently monitoring these threads so please be sure to post the url.

  I just checked again…the problem is still there. Not sure what is causing this problem, it was working ok earlier in the week.

  I have a wordpress hosted blog but it’s password protected:
  http://textileiq.wordpress.com

  I also have staff using this like “tlsinfo” and also fear people will turn away if this is not fixed soon =(.

  Would this still happen if I was hosting my own installation?

  You should be able to go to the following URL and login as the administrator (whatever your user is) and get into the blog Admin for your blog:

  http://textileiq.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Double check that you are using an admin for that blog and not an account that is not on the user list since you mentioned it is a private blog. Are you being redirected back to wordpress.com homepage or to the global dashboard?
