Login problem
-
I presented my login problem a couple days ago, but no one has tried to help — probably because I presented the funny side of it, in hopes of a response. Here’s what happened.
When logging in to WP, my dog bumped me, causing me to accidentally click “Remember me” on the drop down box.
I do not want to be remembered when logging in. I want to be able to type in my username and password. But, I’m no longer given that option and cannot find how to have that option.
How can I regain the option to have WP not remember my username and password.
If this needs a WP tech to answer it, please tell them about it. Thank you for caring. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What I post below applies only to sites hosted by wordpress.COM. It does not apply to wordpress.ORG software installs.
You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
If the login information has been lost go to

Hi Timethief,
Thank you for helping me to get a Staff follow up. I’m not sure I stated my situation clearly, so I will try to clarify it.I have been a WordPress.com user for eight years. To write a post, I go to the WordPress login page at https://wordpress.com and click the login button in the upper right hand corner. The login boxes appear — and a drop down box appears in the upper left of the screen, asking me if I want WP to remember me or not.
I always check that I do not want WP to remember me — and then I fill in my login name and password to get logged in.
But, the other day, my dog bumped my elbow and I inadvertently clicked that I do want WP to remember me. Ever since then WP automatically enters my login name and password. I don’t want that automatically done for me. But, I cannot find how to undo that error and the drop down box no longer appears.
I am able to log in and post — but I don’t want it to be automatically done for me.
I hope this is clearer than mud. If one has been signing in automatically for years, they probably don’t remember doing it manually. I just feel it’s safer. Thank you for helping the Staff to know my concern. Have a great day.

Hi @96isaiah, you’ll just want to get rid of the cookies related to WordPress. Here’s how:
