Login problem

I have had this account for many years, long before there was two-factor authentication codes. Now, when I try to log into my site, it logs in as slabieniec.wordpress.com (instead of stanandtheresa.wordpress.com) and all my information is replaced by what looks like a blank site.

Hi there,
It looks like you have two accounts on WordPress.com. This one @slabieniec which you are currently logged onto, with the site slabieniec.wordpress.com and then @STANANDTHERESA which has the site stanandtheresa.wordpress.com. You need to log out of this account and log into the other one to access that other site.

I looked at that already, but I started this account so many years ago I don’t have a transaction ID, or activation key as proof of ownership. I have embeds from my accounts on youtube.com and flickr.com and I show birth certificate or license.

stanandtheresa.You may have done it inadvertently, but you’re under the right account now. If you do not remember the login credentials, I’d be sure to reset the password:

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I tried resetting my password using my gmail.com address and it will only log into the blank account with the username slabieniec (which I never changed it to!!). If I just use the user name stanandtheresa, I don’t receive a Gmail. When I first made this account years ago, I started out with an email – (email visible only to moderators and staff), but at some point, I changed it to my gmail.com address. I tried sending to the msn address, but never got a reply. I don’t know what else to do

I’m not sure I understand the issue at the moment. You’re already logged in to the correct account under which you own the site stanandtheresa.wordpress.com. If you want to change your email address on this account, you can go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and follow the instructions here to update your email address.
The new email address will be activated after you verify it.
Other than that, you’re already logged in to the correct account to manage the site that you originally said you wanted to manage.

Last night I went to bed late and read this last reply on my phone. I saw what you ment, because I WAS logged into the WordPress app on my phone. I thought I would wait till morning to check the username and email address, but when I got up this AM I was logged out again and having the same problem. What is going on??
