login query
-
Hi,
I’m trying to set up a new blog. I’ve had an account for some time, which I never really used and now am restarting. I’m really confused at the moment because I can log in to the same blog using 2 separate user names and passwords. They both take me to the same blog, which I restarted yesterday. There is one username and login I want to keep and one I need to get rid of. Please can you let me know what to do about this?
GemThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, thanks for your help.
It is littleboldsteps.wordpress.com. I tested it just now by logging in with the details that I want to keep, created my about page, logged out and then back in with the other details and it was the same.
I haven’t used user roles. The mystery continues…

I am unable to see any behind the scenes information, because I’m a volunteer (not staff). My guess, is that one of your accounts ‘owns’ the domain, and that the other account is set up as a contributing user role.
You would only be able to complete actions such as transferring your domain, or deleting your domain, under the account that owns it. Also, if you had any upgrades on your account, you’d only be able to renew them from the associated account.
If you are not able to figure out which account owns littleboldsteps.wordpress.com you can type ‘modlook’ into the Tags bar in the right hand side of the screen, then click ‘add’. This will notify staff that you are in need of their help. They will contact you here. Please subscribe to this thread to receive notifications.
