login recognition

    I have my site dashboard open, (and its staying open until I get this problem solved). Yet when I go fresh to the login page and put in the username and the contact email address on the user’s profile page I receive a message saying that neither is recognised. Why?

    Do you mean you add that on the login page? You need to enter either your email address and password OR username and password. If you add your email address and username it won’t work.
