Login redirect

  Hi!

  So I own the website http://1dnow.com, and my father made a new website http://test.1dnow.com so I could update the site over some time then put the new version on the regular website all at once.

  When the test.1dnow.com website was finished, I went to general settings and changed the url to 1dnow.com on the test.1dnow.com thinking it would transfer over (I probably should have looked into it a bit more) and now it won’t let me login to either, and both the sites do not work.
  If you go to either of them, they are just the text and not the actual website.
  Also when I go to login on 1dnow.com and put in all my information it comes up with incorrect password but the url changed to test.1dnow.com and vice versa.

  I’m not quite sure if anyone can help me with this but I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice.

  Also: I had to make a new blog (Not sure how it worked speaking its the same email as test.1dnow.com) to post this.

  I am just in a big mess right now. Ugh.

  Am I correct to assume that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com or WordPress.org?

  In other words, is your site hosted by some other hosts? The reason I am asking this is because you have creted a subdomain (test.xxxx.com) using cName and I don’t think this is possible on WP.

  Please clarify.

  Well I use wordpress.com to edit the website.

  For example if I am adding a new post I would login through http://1dnow.com/wp-admin and then it directs me to the dashboard

  If that’s what you’re talking about.
  I’m pretty new to wordpress and websites in general :3

  No, I wanted to know whether you are running a self hosted WP blog or not. but it looks you are. Your best option is to post your query at this link:

  We have different forums for different people with differing problems. There is absolutely nothing wrong to have self-hosted blog. So don’t take it personally in any shape or form.

  Incorrect link. You want to be over at wordpress.ORG not here on wp.COM
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  Here is some information about the different flavors of wordpress:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The site linked to your username is a wp.COM blog.
  But the links you originally provided are self-hosted using wp.ORG software.
