Login required every time

I am forced to login to WordPress everytime I open IE7. This just started. I modified the privacy settings but that didn’t help. I use Kaspersky Internet Security as well.
Thanks!

Some folks using McAfee have had the same problem. I do not know how they resolved it but perhaps using the forum searchbox and the term “McAfee” will pull up threads that you can check into.

Those programs usually don’t allow your browser to set cookies for wordpress.com. I know a couple of users added wordpress.com as one of their ‘trusted sites’ adn that seemed to do the trick.

Recently I came across the same scenario .. everytime I close IE 6 and load my Blog the next time, it does not remember my login credentials. This started occuring like two weeks ago. I am running XP SP2, no Firewall of any kind and my antivirus is Avast Home (no script blocking). I have cookies enabled for the forums I am subscribed to and all of these have no problems remembering cookies.
My IE Privacy settings are in Medium and I’ve “Allowed” wordpress.com in the custom cookie setting.
It’s getting very annoying having to re-enter each time I want to post or edit my blogs.

My issue seems similiar yet different.
I can ONLY log onto my account through this forum link. If I come to the forum and log in – no problems. If I head to the main page and try to log in from there or from the stand-alone log-in – it acts like I haven’t entered anything and the page simply refreshes.
I’ve cleared all my cookies and turned down security and added wordpress to trusted like others here.
Happens in both Mozilla and IE 7. I do have McAffee and I will go look at that next.

I am having the same problem.
Every time I visit any wordpress.com blog, I am logged out and have to log in again.
