login & support confusion
-
I can log in to wordpress on one browser, but not another. I can access one website but can’t link another wordpress site. what’s going on? No chat option on my dashboard, no support.
I am used to editing through WordPress, but new site keeps pushing me to Elementor. How to manage this?
Keep getting run around in circles… -
Hey there, could you send a link to the site you’re struggling to log into? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

wordpress.com
now I’ve managed to get a password reset under one name, but no sites are visible to me in wordpress.
The name I signed up with and was managing a site won’t accept my password. Now I think there are three usernames that are all me & I can’t resolve the confusion. -
Hi there, I think what supernovia was asking is the URL of your site, it is fantuzzimusic.com yes?
From what I see by examining the source code of that site, it is hosted at Squarespace, so to access the site you would need to log in there, and not here.

Jerry! Hence my confusion. We migrated fantuzzimusic away from WordPress years ago. I’m now working on millarvillegeneralstore.com. I set up WordPress with that site & my username KatD, but having logged in & done a bunch of work last week, this week it’s just chaos. My head hurtsssss.
Now I seem to be stuck with katdancer usrnm & a broken link to a site we don’t use with WordPress… -
Hi,
I’m unable to access my wordpress page in chrome. When I click Write, it takes me to this link – https://wordpress.com/post?site=null -
@katdancer The site millarvillegeneralstore.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Greengeeks Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/millarvillegeneralstore.com+dns
To clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org (the version Greengeeks uses) are two different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only the ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
To get help with logging in to millarvillegeneralstore.com you will want to reach out to greengeeks.com support. Because they host your site they are in the best position to help you.

@athawaney92 that sounds like a different issue from the one in the original post, could you start a new topic here?
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1That way the people who have been working on this topic won’t get unwanted notifications as we troubleshoot your issue. Thanks!
