login to old website interfering with login to new website at wordpress.com
-
I can’t find my login to an old wordpress.com site that I made for my neighborhood association. When I try to reset my password, wordpress wants to reset my current wordpress personal website. I have tried everything I know to do, and nothing is working. How can I get in to the old site, to delete it? historicreynolda.wordpress.com – Betty Faulk Hastings (see below, wordpress will only let me select my personal website)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
While logged on to this account, please go to https://wordpress.com/sites/ and see if the site is there.
If the site is there, then you can delete it.
If it’s not there, it would be under a different account. Try a different username or e-mail address than the one you are using now.
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpasswordIf you forgot the email address that you used, try leaving a comment on the historicreynolda.wordpress.com website, and if it’s setup to receive comments, you should receive an email about the comment on the email address that you used.
If that doesn’t work, can you try recovering your account using this form?
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryHere are the instructions for that:

Thank you for your quick response, I have tried all of those.
– It’s not listed as one of my sites.
– I have tried every username I can think of, and it I go to reset the password, it tries to change my current site.
– I am not able to use the recovery form, because I no longer have the three items required – it’s been too long and those emails are gone.I am stuck!

Hi, Betty,
Just fill out the Account Recovery form as best you can and they can help you with your account. Good luck!
