Login with Desktop App

    Idk why but when I use the Desktop app, The app says “Password Reqired’ ‘To use the WordPress.com Desktop app your account requires a password. Please log in to your account through your browser, create a password for your account and use this password to log in to the Desktop application.’ But I already have a password into the account and I changed it but idk why it won’t work!

    Thanks for writing to us. You will need to be signed in to your WordPress.com user account in order to use the app as described.

    It sounds like you changed the account password and now it won’t let you sign in to the app with the new password. Is that right?

    Some initial steps to resolve this problem:
    – delete the app and reinstall
    – restart the device
    – try to sign in again with the new password
    – you can always reset the password again

    Let us know which site you’re trying to work on and we can take a closer look at things from our end.
