Logo Doesn't Overlay Header On Mobile
-
Hi All,
I’m a bit new to this so please bare with me! I’m using the theme “Affinity” and I think it looks great on Desktop! However, if you’ll look via a mobile, or even tablet, browser… Our Logo appears Under the Header image… Rather than over it. At first I thought it was the size of the image… But I’ve shrank it a fair bit and we’re still getting the same result (For the record, the current image is an un-shrank version as it seemed to make no difference and looked better larger on desktop).
Any assistance would be great!
Kind regards,
Shaun

Hi Shaun,
Affinity was designed to adapt based on the size of the screen it’s being viewed on and, as part of this, the logo is purposefully placed below the header image on tablets and mobiles.
In order to override the theme’s default design, you would need to use some custom CSS. We can help out with the specific CSS you need via our dedicated forum, however, you do need a WordPress.com Premium or Business plan in order to add CSS.
Different themes adapt to mobile in different ways and so, if you don’t wish to upgrade, it may be worth considering a different theme.
I can see you switched themes from Affinity to Dyad shortly after submitting your support request. Let me know if you’re happy with Dyad. I’d be happy to offer suggestions for other themes if you let me know a little about the features you’re after and what your site’s going to be about.
