    I am struggling to make my logo larger. It is quite a large file and I’ve tried the various suggestions in css after googling my problem but it loses quality or just doesn’t work. I’d appreciate any help I can get.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I believe Resonar theme use logo image with max width 192px, so your image will be resized into 192px width. I’m afraid if we use CSS to make the logo bigger, it will look blurry.

    Hi there, first off, you are not allowed to hide the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#11). Even the VIP sites here at WordPress.com (CNN, Time, etc.) are required to keep the footer credits. See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.

    You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable. If you would like to restyling the footer credits, let us know and our volunteers and our Staff would be happy to help. Please remove the following from your custom CSS to restore the footer credits. Thanks in advance.

    .site-info a, .site-info .sep {
        color: #fff !important;
    }

    On your logo, what we can do is to hide the existing logo and then put your logo into the site-branding parent div. Add the following to your custom CSS and see what you think.

    .site-branding {
        background: transparent url("https://ellielawsondotnet.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/screen-shot-2015-11-06-at-2-49-26-pm.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 / contain ;
        height: 70px;
        max-width: 300px !important;
        width: 100%;
    }
    .site-logo {
        visibility: hidden;
    }

    Thanks so much for your help, both of you!

    Re. the footer, is there anything I can do about the word ‘blog’ being present? I don’t mind wordpress being there, or there name of the theme, but ‘blog at’ seems very unprofessional.

    Do I need to go over to wordpress.org for this option?

    You are welcome.

    Sorry, the content of the footer cannot be changed. You can add something to it, such as a copyright, but you cannot edit the existing wording.
