Logo help with Affintity template
-
I’ve created a logo that is 800 pixels x 54 pixels. It shows up nicely in the web view but when I switch to tablet or phone view it disappears. I checked the info page and it says: The site logo appears at a maximum width of 800 and height of 300. So I was thinking that meant if my logo was within that range it would show up on all devices. Any idea why it doesn’t?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The logo is moved beneath the main header image on smaller devices and, as your logo is white, it’s no longer visible on the white background.
You could get around this by navigating to the Colors & Background panel of the WordPress.com Customizer and changing your site’s background to anything other than white.
Alternatively, you could move the positioning of the logo over the header image on all devices via the following custom CSS:
.site-description-wrapper { position: absolute; top: 50%; left: 50%; transform: translate(-50%,-50%); z-index: 2; }Hope that’s helpful! Please do let me know if extra questions come up.

Thanks for that information.
So would I just paste that CSS text into the Customizing CSS window after the text that is already there? In other words, paste it after:
/*
Welcome to Custom CSS!To learn how this works, see http://wp.me/PEmnE-Bt
*/Also, I am finding whenever I go to my stats page, specifically the address below, my computer freezes up. I am using Chrome on a Mac and I get the “Aw Snap” window. Do you know why that would be?

That’s right! :) Enter the CSS beneath the introductory text in the editor.

I haven’t been able to replicate this on my own setup of Chrome and wonder if a browser extension could be to blame. To test: Could you please try accessing the URL in Chrome’s incognito mode to see if you have trouble there? All extensions are disabled by default in incognito mode and it’s therefore a good way to test whether an extension is causing an issue.
Let me know how you get on with that and we can troubleshoot further if necessary.

Ah ha! That seems to be it. Thank you, again! I did what you recommended and tried the URL in Chrome’s incognito mode and it works fine. So I guess I can continue to do that or remove Chrome extensions one by one?
-
Try temporarily disabling your Chrome extensions one by one until you pinpoint the one that’s causing the error. Start with any ad blocking or security extensions.
Once you’ve pinpointed the extension, let me know and we can try to figure out a solution.

I switched my Google login credentials and that seemed to fix this issue. So since that works I don’t think I will remove extensions at this point.
But I do have another question. Can you look at my “Reserve Your Copy Page”. I’m not seeing the labels in each field. I should see “Name” “Email” “Website” and “Comment” but all I see is the “(required)” text. Do you know why that is? Also, I’m seeing my name, email and website information populated in these fields. I’m assuming that I only see that because I am the creator of the site and others will not see that?

Thanks for reporting this issue, I’ll ask our developers to have a look and we’ll keep you posted here.

Correct! You’re seeing that because you’re logged into your WordPress.com account. Other folks will either see their own information, or the fields will be blank.
