Logo in wordpress nav menu using css background

I was trying to insert the logo in wordpress nav menu which i had done successfully. Now problem is that particular part of nav bar is no more responsive.
i have used following css to insert the logo,
#menu-item-1204 {
background: url(“logo.png”) no-repeat scroll 8px 6px transparent;
text-indent: -9999em;
height:100%;
width:260px;
border-right:1px solid #39B5E1;
}please help me how to resize the image when theme is switched to responsive one.
