Logo on Business Theme doesn't resize very well on iPhone 8 and SE

Hi, I have already asked this question via the live chat but am not wholly happy with the response so thought I would ask here too.
I am a web designer who has created this site for a client who wishes to use his logo on the top of his website. The logo looks absolutely fine on the desktop and iPad screens but on a iPhone 8 or SE, it doesn’t resize so well so the menu button hides part of the logo.
I was told to make the logo very small in the Site Identity/Customization so it doesn’t have to resize for a small screen or crop the logo graphic so it fits or pay for an upgrade so I can amend it via CSS.
None of the above are very suitable.
The site branding text will resize if no logo graphic is used – surely the theme should be written so that it will do the same for a graphic or am I being unreasonable?

  • Hi there,

This looks like a bug to me. The theme recommends you use an image that’s 600×300 for the logo. Yours is 600×155, but the different height shouldn’t matter, and using a log at 300px height I still see it being cut off on the right rather than resizing to fit.

So the logo is clearly not responsive on mobile. I’ve reported this to our theme team to take a look. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more information.

The menu button overlapping the logo on mobile might be intentional, though – I’ve specifically asked the themes team about that.
