I tried replicating the issue on my test site but couldn’t get the same result.
If you’re referring to changing the logo in your site’s header, you can adjust the dimensions from the Site Editor.
To start, you will want to:
- Navigate to Appearance → Editor
- Open any template with the
headertemplate part - Click on the
headertemplate part and open it for editing - Click on the logo image and resize it
- Save changes.
You can resize the logo in two ways. The first is to click on the image so that two circles occur (bottom and right border) on the image. Clicking and dragging any of these two will resize the logo.
The other one is to use the block settings sidebar, which you can activate from the Site Editor by clicking on the 2nd icon after the “Save” button (top-right part of the Site Editor), and adjust the image width via the sidebar:
