Logo / Site picture

    Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to get wordpress to select my site icon as a logo for the site itself, so that when I share the site url a picture will come up next to the link, rather than just a blank box? When I share the url of a post, a picture from the post will show in the link, but when I share the link of my wordpress site, there is just a blank square? Thank you!
