Hi gspotdaiquirishoppe
To decrease the size of the logo try adding the following CSS:
img.site-logo.attachment-luxury-logo-size { width: 210px; }To add custom CSS
Select Appearance > Customize > CSS from your Admin Dashboard and enter the custom CSS there.
-
To remove the thin white bar add this line.
.wf-active .custom-header-image .headline.img-headline { display: none; } -
I’m not sure what kind of account you have but you need to be on the WordPress.com Premium or Business Plan for custom CSS to save.

Thanks for your help. It worked! Now, once I decreased the size of the logo, it shifted to the left. In other words, it’s no longer centered. How do I get it back centered?
I have a premium account and all of the changes have applied.

Hi @gspotdaiquirishoppe, I would suggest a slightly different approach from what @g471n gave. Both will work, but this is what I came up with.
#masthead .site-branding { max-width: 210px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; float: none !important; }You may want to edit your original image and crop it so that it has the same whitespace on the left and right sides. Right now there is more whitespace to the right, which makes it a little bit off center.
