Logo Visibility Spotty

    Hey there,

I’m a little stumped at this current problem. I have my logo uploaded to the site under the site identity in the customizer, however it sometimes doesn’t display. I’ve tested it on as many computers as I can and I can’t find a correlation for when it does and does not appear. Clearing the cache and turning on and off content blockers doesn’t seem to affect it in a clear way. Would anyone have any ideas?

    Update:

It appears the problem was actually Safari not responding well to the lazy loading attribute on images. Turning that off in the settings has seemed to solve the problem.

  • Hi there,

Just curious: when you checked other computers, was it still in Safari on all of them? Or could you replicate the issue in a different browser? And were they all on the same network, or on different networks/internet connections?

I briefly re-enabled lazy images on your site to test, but I’m not able to replicate the issue in Safari on my end, so I suspect it might be a network issue instead, or else a combination of factors.

If you want to use the Lazy Images feature, let us know and we can continue troubleshooting this. But if you’re happy with things as is, that’s also fine :)

Also note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
