Logo will not change

Hello,
I changed our wordpress.com blog picture/logo from our old logo of the NYU torch to our new logo, which has changed all our tabs and bookmarks as desired. However, I can’t figure out why the torch logo still remains next to our blog name on the Dashboard. When I paste a link to a blog post that doesn’t have a picture, on Facebook for example, the torch logo automatically appears as the thumbnail instead of our logo. I can’t find where this picture is saved because it is not in our media library. Do you know how I can delete the NYU torch logo and replace it with our logo?

Thanks for including the screenshot.
It can take some time for the favicon — displayed in the address bar — to be refreshed with your new Blavatar (which you’ve uploaded in Settings → General).
In Safari 5.1.7, your Blavatar loads properly for me. (Screenshot)
Can you let me know if you’re still seeing that in another browser, such as Mozilla Firefox?

Thanks for responding, but that’s not actually the problem I’m having. My Blavatar is displayed in my address bar, but the torch logo still remains next to our blog name on the Dashboard. You can only see this logo when logged into the blog, but when I share blog post links on Facebook the torch logo is automatically selected as the thumbnail instead of our Blavatar. It has also been several weeks since I changed the Blavatar and it has successfully appeared everywhere else so I don’t think time is the problem, unfortunately.
