I would like to publish a document with 10 pages
I have also numbered the pages, but cannot see which page I am on
Nor can I search the whole document. It is not serachable
This is not acceptable. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How are you publishing the 10-page document? If you use this you can see what page you are on http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/
-
If I make an effort I can see the difference
But the Comment button covers half of the page numbering
I use the theme Journalist -
Please don’t post the same question more than once.

The worst is that there isn’t even a page or post on the blog to look at to see the problem.

Visibility was private. Now is public.
Reguarding the same question appearing twice: as you know, I cannot edit or delete my postings here, so this kind of redundancy will surely happen again, although I try to avoid and am well aware -
Volunteers mark duplicate threads so that we don’t waste time answering the same question more than once. Not only does that waste time, it makes for broken threads that other people can’t follow or learn from.
Sometimes a message gets duplicated by gremlins—just happens by mistake. It’s easy enough to mark one as a copy.
In this case the messages were several hours apart, so perhaps there was some problem finding the original question. To find a question you have already asked, click on your name on top of the forum:
“Welcome, YOUR_NAME! | Log Out”
You can also view threads which you’ve marked as favorites here.Clicking on the word “member” under names will show a list of comments/questions that person has made.

I dont see how to makr as a copy. I have seen my misstake just seconds after the posting, but could not delete it. So blame the WordPress designers of this Forum, not me ! I am innocent like a lamb

I meant no offense, nor did I intend to blame you. My apologies to you, then. Lots of people read the forums without commenting or asking or answering questions. And lots of new people don’t know how to find a thread they’ve started.
To let people know that one post is a copy, just write a reply in one telling everyone that “this message is a copy.” (mistake, or a duplicate for whatever reason.)
About the lack of editing: long ago there were a number of less mature bloggers who would dramatically post, argue, edit, re-edit, and delete so that threads became unreadable. Now we see the occasional misspelling, accidental duplicate, or dramatic poster, but all remains posted as it happened.
