Long import

  How long does the import take?
  My .xml file has 14.9 MB. I started importing to WordPress.com on Friday at 16:30 and it continues to this day (over 96 hours!). Is it normal? How long can it take?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi iwkobietawspolczesna,

  It appears the importer on iwkobietawspolczesna.wordpress.com stalled during the import process. I’ve reset it so you can try running the import again.

  Come back to me if you run in to any problems.

  Hi, thanks for the answer.
  I can’t re-import because the option is not available. “Import in progress”.

  Hi iwkobietawspolczesna,

  Please try logging out and back in again before running the import. Does that help?

  If not, are you able to run the import from your WP Admin dashboard? This link will take you through to the right place:

  Hi…

  I tried to send a file via a link. Unfortunately, an error occurred.

  “Sorry, an error has occurred.
  This file is not a valid WXR file, no / invalid WXR version number”

  This probably will not work :(

  I give up. Thank you for your help.
  I created a second blog. Before importing, I split the file using wxrsplitter. I hope that this time everything will be ok.
